Over 200 Diablo Canyon Workers Attend Save Diablo Canyon Event

Mothers clutching infant babies, reactor operators, security guards, managers, pipefitters, and maintenance workers were some of the more than 200 Diablo Canyon Power Plant power plant workers who attended a Save Diablo Canyon meeting in San Luis Obispo last night, Thursday, February 18.

The event signifies the addition of labor activists to the environmental effort to save DCPP.

Shellenberger pointed out the numerous inconsistencies between official statements by PG&E and the facts on the ground.

Workers at the event expressed surprise and concern that PG&E and the unions haven't done more to seek re-licensing of DCPP.
